Child Faith Formation in Saint Luke Catholic Church
Saint Luke Catholic Church provides instruction for children in grades K-8. Children are formed as intentional disciples of Jesus through the Gospel Weeklies Program. In addition, 8th grade students will participate in Decision Point, a program developed by Matthew Kelly, Founder of Dynamic Catholic, to inspire teens to respond to God's grace. Religious Formation programming will also prepare students to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Holy Eucharist, and Confirmation.
Formation classes are continuous and build one year upon the next. Grade 1 is required for First Eucharist Preparation. Grades 3-7 are required for Grade 8 Confirmation with Grade 7 being Confirmation Prep.
Make up classes are available for students who have missed a year or more of formation. Reach out to Jessica Purcell for more information if your child has missed any years of formation.
