Children Praying
Child Faith Formation

Let the children come to me.

From Sacred Scripture:  Mark 10:13-16

And they were bringing children to him, that he might touch them; and the disciples rebuked them.  But when Jesus saw it he was indignant and said to them, "Let the children come to me, do not hinder them; for to such belongs the kingdom of God.  Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it."  And he took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands upon them.

Child Faith Formation in Saint Luke Catholic Church

Saint Luke Catholic Church provides instruction for children in grades K-8.  Children are formed as intentional disciples of Jesus through the Finding God series published by Loyola Press, a program that nurtures children in their faith through authentic teachings of the Catholic Church and Ignatian spirituality.  In addition, 8th grade students will participate in Decision Point, a program developed by Matthew Kelly, Founder of Dynamic Catholic, to inspire teens to respond to God's grace.  Religious Formation programming will also prepare students to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Holy Eucharist, and Confirmation.
