Each month, Saint Luke Catholic Church presents the First Friday Lecture Series.  Beginning with a wine and cheese reception, we visit with an exceptional speaker and discuss current events and topics of national and international importance.

MOSAIC - SPIRITUALITY FOR WOMEN (Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. in the Community Room)

SPIRITUAL EXERCISES OF SAINT IGNATIUS

Deacon Brian Kelly leads parishioners through the Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius.  The Spiritual Exercises are a compilation of meditations, prayers, and contemplative practices developed by Saint Ignatius of Loyola to help people deepen their relationship with God. For centuries the Exercises were most commonly given as a “long retreat” of about 30 days in solitude and silence. In recent years, there has been a renewed emphasis on the Spiritual Exercises as a program for laypeople.  The most common way of going through the Exercises now is a “retreat in daily life,” which involves a months long program of daily prayer and meetings with a spiritual director.  The Exercises have also been adapted in many other ways to meet the needs of modern people.  Contact Deacon Brian for a convenient time to meet by emailing brian9887@att.net or by calling (203) 373-9753.

WESTPORT CATHOLIC MEN'S GROUP (Saturdays after 8:00 a.m. Mass in the Church)
